Beppu is a 'Sister' city to Rotorua and Beppu Hamurodai High School is a 'Sister' school to Western Heights High School.

Beppu Hamurodai High School is one of the academic prefectural high schools founded in 1982 and is located on the top of a hill in Beppu City with a beautiful ocean view. Beppu is in the Oita Prefecture on the southern island of Kyushu and is well known for it's many hot springs.

Students from Beppu Hamurodai spend a week at our school to further study English. They each live with a local family and are given the opportunity to visit many of our local cultural spots.
